Overview:
Informatics College of Allied Health Sciences Gujrat proudly launches its Annual Free Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid Training Program — a community-centered initiative dedicated to educating young individuals in life-saving emergency response skills. This flagship program reflects our mission to empower youth with practical knowledge that can help save lives at home, in schools, and in the wider community.
Program Objectives:
To provide free access to high-quality first aid and BLS training for students of all academic backgrounds (Science or Arts).
To build a generation of responsible individuals equipped to respond to common emergencies such as fainting, bleeding, fractures, cardiac arrest, and more.
To promote health awareness and encourage civic responsibility within families and neighborhoods.
To bridge the gap between medical professionals and everyday citizens through basic medical literacy.
What You Will Learn:
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Managing Choking & Airway Obstruction
How to Deal with Burns, Bleeding, Fractures
First Response to Seizures, Stroke & Heart Attack
How to Check Blood Pressure, Pulse, and Sugar
Safe Injection Techniques
Handling Emergencies at Home or Public Spaces
Emergency Preparedness Basics

Eligibility:
Matric pass students (Science or Arts)
Age: 16 years and above
Open to students from all schools and colleges
Program Duration:
2 Months (with flexible scheduling)
Regular batches held Once in a year
Certificate:
While no formal certificate is awarded, each participant receives a letter of participation, endorsed by ICAHS
